Futurama vs King of the Hill
So, a few years ago Futurama was always the first thing that came on at 10:00 on Adult Swim. This was recently replaced with King of the Hill.
I have always loved Futurama. The techincal humor in it is just so damn funny. The characters are great. It's just overall an awesome show.
As for King of the Hill, I used to watch it a bit when I was younger. Never really got into it. Since it joined the Adult Swim lineup, though, I've watched it literally EVERY night. Both episodes. What makes it so funny is how "american" Hank is. The situations he's presented with are just hilarious.
What do you guys think about these two shows? Which do you like better?

i watch both whenever given the opportunity. this past weekend they played all the bender movies up to the new one. they appeal to two kinds of funny for me ...
futurama- appeals to the nerdy scifi humor..
king of the hill appeals to the redneck "god i cant believe there are people like that but i know there are " humor..
they are both win

I prefer Futurama, because i enjoy the Simpsons, and they're both made by the same guy. I like the hidden humor, the references and such.

I love king of the hill. It is one of the better shows EVER created in my opinion. That aside, I choose Futurama, for the same reasons. This is like a #1 seed playing another #1 seed in the Final Four. Why do you have to pit two of my favorite shows against one another!!

Futurama is second only to The Venture Bros. for quality animated shows while King of the Hill would be completely unwatchable without Dale & Kahn.

Whoever votes King of the Hill is no longer my friend, period.
I'm a huge Futurama fan (although to be fair, probably as not as big as Capt. Yesterday for obvious reasons...) and it's a damn shame that it's over. However, I was quite pleased with how they ended the series in Into the Wild Green Yonder/set it up that it could be revived.

My dad watched koth all the time when I was younger.
I could watch it, but really didn't like it too much.
I really can't believe AS put it in their lineup, but as long as they don't keep playing other crap shows(like mission hill).
Futurama is a fav., but I've seen every episode way too many times thnx to AS.

I love all of the AS toons late at night. Mission Hill, Oblongs, Home Movies all rock. Don't like Morel Orel tho.

Futurama wasn't really "replaced" by KOTH per say. Futurama was removed from adult swim like a year or two ago due to an expiration in the contract, and it was bought by Comedy Central.
At first Adult swim played more family guy and robot chicken if I am not mistaken. They only got king of the hill like 5 months ago.
Still, I miss Futurama on adultswim, because CC always plays it at seemingly random times.

Both shows suck.. Futurama reminds me to much of the Simpsons and KOTH just sucks.. I'll watch me some Family Guy though!

never got into futurama because i didn't have cable and still don't cus i don't watch tv all that much
but i love futurama and i cannot stand KOTH
