Oh, good, a 2fort regular. :) Be sure to add the admins to your Steam friends and let one of us know if you notice a hacker/mic-spammer/etc and there isn't an admin on 2fort already.

Will do! I've had Masterlink43 on my friend's list since before he became admin, and I've tried a couple others but the one's I've tried have a full friend's list.

I literally play our 2fort server 100% of the time when I'm on TF2. (one reason being my laptop can't handle any other map!)

Well that's odd! Someone else (Shango?) has said 2fort is the one map their computer can't handle.

Check out Herron's configs (http://www.drifters.org/tf2/configs/)... I hear tell it works great for lower-end PCs

Well the problem isn't graphics, it's memory/loading. It locks up whenever it plays a sound or shows a texture it hasn't seen/played before. Mostly sounds. For some reason, 2fort seems to work fine. But maps like Gold Rush and Steel absolutely murder my computer to the point where it would lock up for 10 minutes, and then crash the game.

Which can get quite frustrating. =) But yeah, now that you mention it it is pretty weird.

I'll check out those .CFGs, they look pretty interesting.

mmm yes, it's my graphics card, it's like...faulty or sommat, so whenever i look towards the bridge it can screw the entire graphics, and for some reason opening and shutting the steam overlay fixes it...so wierd...

Anyways, add me to Steam Friends if you like, i don't play tf2 as much as i used to, but if i get a message about a spammer/hacker i always try to jump in and do mah jawb, and i usually stick around for a while afterwards :)


2fort is my turtling map, i usually only defend, or attack through sewers, (it only seems that the bridge/top of water is the problem?!)
