In addition to looking for feedback on the remaing character updates, Valve is now looking for feedback on new maps they have in the works. It's just like Valve to want us to do the work just for them to Frak it up anyways.

They aren't asking for feedback on new maps. They are displaying the process they go through to create new maps and the questions they ask themselves.

"Hopefully these examples will help you in taking a look at your own ideas for what types of environments you'd like to see TF take place in."

They read and use ideas from the forums.

Yes, but it is not like they are leaving it up to the players what the map should be like (as it was implied in your first comment).

I would like to see some more Valve-created maps because many of the community ones don't have quite the polish as the Valve ones (e.g. the ever buggy Labor).

I don't understand how that map is still on the server.....everyone who responded wanted to try the Black Mesa map recommended but Labor is still there.

If it wasn't so buggy, it may be better, but it can be frustrating at times. Especially as engie when your teleporters keep breaking by themselves.

I would like to see a new map take its place in the rotation.

I love valve. Even though they screw up a shit ton. They still try waaay harder than anyone else to make the best possible gaming experience available.

qft. and why not take ideas from the community? that's what any good company would do.

and if you hate labor, PM jokerz. I personally don't think it should be played after midnight, as I've seen it kill the server twice in 2 days.
