I know I'm not really a newcomer, but I figured I would give myself a thread anyway out of my own inflated sense of self-importance.

But seriously, I'm not really a gamer and I only got into TF2 because I played it once on my brother's computer and it seemed really fun. I'm 25 and I do research at the university here.

Anyway, here's me at my wedding and then in San Francisco:

I have been around a little less lately since I am often practicing on the TKO servers, but I'm still around probably a little too often for my own good. When I'm not playing TF2 I enjoy eating, drinking, and (occasionally) sleeping. :)

Haha, it sounds funny to hear that after being here for so long, but I guess that's what I get for posting in the welcome forum. :D

I played Doom and Duke3d when they came out, but I have never played any kind of online FPS or anything before. It's all kind of new to me.

I am at the University of Michigan doing experimental physics right now. Mostly looking at energy transfer pathways in biological systems, and some of it is actually pretty interesting stuff.

I also have never played any online games either, but thanks to PandaBear and Cpt Morgan, now my wife thinks I'm and addict. Show me any drug, booze, alcohol or gambling addict that can keep their habit going with only the purchase of the Orange Box. HA, if the only people I hurt are characters that respawn then I'd say as addictions go, I'm okay.

Don't know if I've ever played against/ or been killed by ya (so many people here have, I kinda feel like some kind of death ho, I just don't get paid for it).
