that's ummm... that's pretty lame, pros.
You want some good pyro vids, here ya go...
First: How to play the Pyro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGIISxhYRYE) (made back when the pyro was a niche class because it required skill). The background music kicks ass, btw; I can see BADog listening to this while he's playing.
Next: Ignus Solus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC_aGQyFETU) (Latin for "Burn Alone")
Next: Pyro Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLc3HBzfG2k)
And finally... the Team Roomba Meet the Pyro (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xuHumXoeV0)

How to play the Pyro is a pretty good video, I would also recommend the guy's how to play scout and how to play spy (a bit outdated though). He is devastating. And yeah, the music kicks ass; I actually bought it on iTunes! How to play scout (second part) contains a good bit of techno music too.
I have recently began experimenting with equipping the compression blast rather than the back burner (which means I also lose the health boost), along with the flare gun. So far, I believe the two options are suitable for different scenarios:
1. Backburner: ambushing and flanking
2. Compression blast: rushing and escaping with the intel (because you can blast those chasing you), or you can just blast away the opposition and head for the intel
All in all, I think that the 50 points boost was too much, I think it would have been better had it been 25 or even none at all.

Shine on you crazy (albeit hyperobese) diamond!
Yeah, Pendulum's great. Blood Sugar is really good as well. ("OK, f(beep) it, I lied. It's drum and bass. What you gonna do?")

OMG MY EYES!!! OH IT BURNS!!! AGHHHHHHhhhhh......
Ooo! Ooo! I've seen a good video about flamers too. Heres how it went. A team of 10 Red defense, 3 engineers, 6 pyros (back and reg throwers) and 1 medic are unbeatable. Pyros use airblast to stop any ubers/projectiles from distance, enigneers build on bases while being protected from spies, and medic saves uber for worst case scenario. Can not be beat, so I ask you, how is the pyro not overpowered? If I remember correctly the pyro is classified as an offensive class, yet flooding a team with pyros ensures a defensive victory?
The only way they didn't completely F up the pyro class is if they are planning on overpowering every class from here on out. like if the heavy from now on can shoot stonger bullets and has 700 hp and his shotgun is a missle launcher.. oh and his punches kill in 1 hit :anim_38:
But seriously guys, Valves goal was "not to change the gameplay and strategy of the game" while updating characters. But after the pyro update, the entire game was drastically changed. I liked the game before bc it took at least some skill.

Medic update was awesome. It went from having no medics on a team to like 6+ over night. It was glorious. :cool0013:

I miss retro pyros, too. The class used to truly reward creativity in gameplay.
im just sick of how, when theres 1 point left to cap, how the answer is EVERYONE GO PYRO! and when an uber comes in airblast him, then do the same for the next and the next after that so they cant touch our SG's therefore making the level IMPOSSIBLE to cap. Until the airblast no longer moves uber I shall be extremely bitter to pyro hookers and the whole idea of balancing a game so there actually has to be a strategy.
They can keep the airblast that way if they give heavy like stompfest boots that weigh 2 tons and it wont move him if equipped. But if the heavy update doesn't address this pyromania then im sure TF2 will slowly die.
And if they do plan on making every class unkillable then they will prolly have to re-do the medic class bc it will be so weak its almost pointless.
Giving the pyro the airblast is like giving a soldier unlimited crit ammo.

Yeah, I still have fun playing pyro but nobody ever says anything along the lines of what they used to when I would be the lone "ambush" class.
You are right on the music...the reason why you can't hear it on comms is that I have it piped into the rear channel of my headphones. Center channel is a mic in the door behind my desk (back to door...need the ears on). :fighting0001:

Ignus Solus is what inspired me to play pyro more. That was before the update, though, when there was typically only one pyro per team.

That is pushing it...really far. Air blast doesn't even do damage, every soldier would tear shit up with unlimited crit rockets, the air blast isn't even that bad and most people don't use it, or use it correctly. Most people will just sit there and try to deflect rockets and waste all of their ammo then you run and blow them up, it's great.

Yeah, STALKER already posted the music video earlier in this thread. I'll stick to audio.
