Do you like Badlands?

Personally I think this is the worst TF2 map in the rotation and there are much better maps out there that could replace it. Just wondering who else feels the same.

I actually like Badlands. Hydro is definitely the worst map.

I really don't like badlands. It can be fun, but in the end it always turns into a shitshow every time I play.

I agree that Hydro is by far the worst but badlands is definitely a contender for 2nd place. It's aight I guess. I don't really like it either.

I like Badlands and any other map where it's not the same thing every single game. I don't know how you guys can stand to play stage 1 of Dustbowl 50 times a day, followed by 45 minutes of the first 2 stages of Goldrush and then 30 minutes of Gravelpit (Point B) followed by what seems to be a 90% chance of going straight back to Goldrush or Dustbowl. What happened to Granary?

I like badlands...it's good for every class. On the other hand, hydro is the worst in the rotation. That map makes me leave to go play on one of the other SF servers

Weird, I actually like Hydro. I guess it's just because it doesn't come up that often in the rotation. Like Iron Lung said, well, granary, and hydro are really underrepresented.

but on the subject, badlands isnt that bad of a map. sometimes i hate it but it just depends on the teams really. i would stick with it though.

For me at least, Badlands is forgettable. It just blends in with the other CP/CTF maps. I can honestly say, I can't recall which one is Badlands is.

If there's one thing this thread shows, its that everybody's got a different taste when it comes to which maps they like/hate. (Go figure, right?) But just keep that in mind when you're doggin' a map. Alot of it comes down to playstyle, team dynamics, past experiences, and round/time limits. Thats a bunch of factors that can influence your opinion of a map beyond its objective qualities.

Personally, I'm indifferent about Badlands. I enjoy skirmishing over the middle point, but the 2nd point is a pain. Hydro is tough for me, probably because I hardly ever play it (IRS ftw), so Im not super fond of it, especially the last point which isn't much fun for anyone since its so fast. HoD is the bomb, and should have a 24/7 server dedicated to it (Brandname is a heretic, pryos... :fighting0066::eek:).
