I for one like the look of it......

Also Netflix coming to 360 sounds sexy, although I personally won't be spending the money.

I like the look of it, although I'm more interested in the games-copied to HD ala PS3. Perhaps standard xvid support would be nice too...

This feature was included in one of the two updates from last year. The 360 can play local/stream remote DivX/Xvid content with AC-3 audio.

Yes, you have been able to rent movies for a couple years now, only difference now is your Netflix account will load movies to your 360 to watch on your TV just like Amazon Unbox works with TiVo and like the failed iTV thing Apple tried.

It's why I love my 22" Acer, it's big enough to watch Netflix movies on my computer that they have offered for at least a year or more now.

I can watch movies on my 17" lcd with no complaints........ unless netflix streams them differently than just opening a movie up in VLC????

Mmm, I thought so as well, but when I tried to put in a disc with some Xvid movies on it, no go... Anything I have to do to get it going?
I usually just play movies on my HTPC, so I'm not too concerned about getting it working - I'm just curious to see if it's a good alternative.
