WTF... It was watchable, but that is it. Benders big score was a great movie and I watch it repeatedly. This last one was... well... a writer must have had a bad breakup irl to pinch off this turd. It's suppose to be a comedy, but there wasn't much laughs and the story just had too much drama in it.
I hope the next one is better. :(

For me it's like watching new episodes of the simpsons- a waste of time.
Recycled garbage.
I remember hearing on the radio, before the simpsons movie, some writer saying "It's really hard to write new material, it's all been done on the simpsons before".
They have not touched hardly anything that southpark has done, maybe if the simpsons could move out of G comedy....
Southpark even had an episode to make fun of that fact, titled "Simpsons already did it" (http://www.tv.com/south-park/simpsons-already-did-it/episode/170460/summary.html)
I blame Groening and his team of writers.

Simpsons is also 15 or 18 years old... some huge amount. I like the idea of movie style episodes tho. Simpsons movie was good. I think it gives the writers time to do good animation, sounds, and scripting. Same with Futurama's Movie. Bender's big score was funny. But this Beast with a Billion Backs movie just sucked. I think I laughed once.

Yeah the simpsons is OLD. As well as the humor groening tries to invoke.
19 seasons, 420 episodes? yep...
Honestly I like Futurama much more than the simpsons, but it lost it's "attitude" sort to say, the first 2-3 seasons were soooo much better than the movies, and while BBS was ok, BBB just sucked- and was cheezy.
I'm from a different generation, where stories aren't all goody-goody, cheesy-moral teachings. I liked the simpsons when I was 8, and I think I stopped liking them so much when I was 16 or so.
I need that sick and twisted sense of humor that SP tries to bring- yet I still don't laugh, it just holds my interest a lot better.
Then again, even I have a hard time finding things funny let alone disturbing or scary...or both/all, which is when I find them funny........
DESENSITIZATION????????? I think so!

I bought the new movie and thought it was hilarious. I laughed for like 20 minutes at the Robot Devil part, but i have a really f*cked up sense of humor. IMO Futurama is a show full of subtly and hidden humor and that's what i love about it. It's not just tons of slapstick thrown all over for the obvious laugh, most of the jokes extend further than just an instant punchline at the end, you can only go so far with that formula.
I will admit towards the end it got a little boring but i'd say the first 30-45 minutes or so were hilarious. I feel Futurama is the future and needs to be picked up again. Simpsons has finally run its course and it's time to end it. Futurama is still fresh and I feel has a lot more potential because of the setting, they have a lot more to work with and can be a hell of a lot more quirky and it works in the futurama world.

I really enjoyed Beast, but I think I liked Bender's Big Score slightly better.
All the tie ins to previous episodes made that movie for me.
But yeah...Beast with a Billion Backs was great
