look, heres the truth -

Vista is known to be slow on low RAM computers, but it
isn't that bad, its the computer that
still sucks in general.
This is because Vista takes up a lot of memory,
And while it looks nice, it is still
a good operating system, and is not
a piece of crap.

rly tho i hate it because i only have 1GB of RAM, so it is horrible having Vista atm damnit!.
Otherwise, i wouldn't mind it SO much, i've seen it on a 4gb RAM comp, and it wasnt that bad.

I presume money is a little tight for you then, but damn... how much does 2x1GB sticks sell for these days? $40-$50? That's like... 2 Euros? At least get another gig. Shouldn't run Vista with less than 2GB.

Lol timmah, yes....$40 is 2 euros...
just a few things tho.
1 - Britain uses pounds sterling, not euros (thank freaking god...)
2 - $40 is approx £20-22. (just take the U.S Dollars and divide by 2 for the amount in Pounds, or the Pounds amount and X 2 for the Dollars equivilant)
3 - im saving for a new lappy with a better processor + bigger harddrive so i'm just sticking with the 1Gig RAM for now, and now that i FINALLY have 2 part time jobs i should be able to get it soon (kinda need a new lappy for college)
so far - £200 saved! :)
about another £600 to go....:(
