Try it out and post feedback here. Added map cp_steel_b4 to the custom evening rotation. Let us know what you think. I like it because the last cap can be got at any time, it just gets easier as the other control points are won. Makes the red team really think about defense and to not get over aggressive.

The map is unique (as far as I know, anyway) in that the "final" point E can be captured from the start of the round. The idea is that the final point is difficult to capture initially but by successfully capturing the outer points, it gets easier.

The map started out from a random conversation about maps where the map's central idea was pitched. Took the map from a basic (and very grey) version to test the playstyle and finding that it was enjoyable, kept at it until you see the map we have here.

== Scoring information ==

A-D = 1 point each
E = 5 - (Amount of supplemental points captured)

So if you cap A + B (thus having 2 points) and then manage to cap E, it will award 3 points taking your total to 5. If you cap E straight away you will get 5 points. The scoring system works in such a way to reward teams that cap a couple of supplementary points but didn't quite manage to take E.

Attack and Defend variant!

Red have 60 seconds to set up their defence before Blu are allowed to attack.
Defend the middle point E - under the rocket - until the time runs out!

Objective:
Blu can capture Red's middle point at E at any time to win the game. Taking the surrounding points will help make taking the middle point easier. The five points do these things:

A) - Opens a quicker routes to point E and D
B) - Moves Red spawn point further away from Blu. (between C and D)
C) - Extends 3 bridges toward the middle point
D) - Blocks Red's spawn exit to point E and extends handy rails to E.
E) - Blu can capture this point at any time to win the game

Other Notes:
Control Points cannot be captured while they are locked.

Map looks sweet, but I've been wondering about Ikem's map for a while too. What's the hold-up on that? Bro's before ...bananas? :p

I personally think the scoring formula itself is way too complicated to work successfully on the server. But we'll see.

I kinda agree on the scoring system but i'm kinda anxious to try it out. I did wanna try out Ikem's map too...

Definitely sounds like a fun map. More options for both attackers and defenders. I haven't seen the map yet, but a bigger map with more CPs means more teamwork will be involved to successfully defend or attack...and thats what keeps me playing.

Map has a decent learning curve and because of it's size EVERYONE really needs to work together to get anything done. Blue team likes to run off to try and cap the last point and the objective gets lost. With such a big map it's difficult for a few people to take a point with even a little defense. When the Red team gets their act together they are hard to take down. As a tourney map it would be great, for normal rotation it does not work well IMO. I do like the map a lot but it should be reserved special nights when we have a good group of regulars on. Server hoppers either left or wanted to play Rambo and that does not work on this map.
