I would give it a 9/10. great plot, comedy, and effects. Although i cut one point off for the lack in background and length of movie. They could have extened it a bit.

BTW: could you make a movie review sub forum?

They gave a decentish backplot, sometimes you can't go to in depth without making a 3 part movie. I thought it was good for a single movie and it's one of those movies I don't want to see part II III and IV.

I got scared away by all the bad reviews, sounds like an aborted attempt to be edgy.
Wanted was good, really dumb, but good.
Only movie I really feel a need to see this summer is TDK, can't stand the wait.

it is good, but the telecasts of it are horrible, the quality of every taping is bad. but yes i understand that going in depth does take more then one movie. but they had room to make it a 2 hour movie than a 1 hour 20 min one.

I thought Wanted was surprisingly good in terms of the plot and twists. I just hated that there were some unbelievable things that I couldn't suspend disbelief enough to ignore. Still worth seeing, though.
On a related note: I don't understand this new trend with Hollywood where main-characters can fall a thousand feet into sand or water and not die (or at least break every bone in their body). Yeah, this still applies even if you're in an iron suit - if you go from terminal velocity to a complete stop in .0001 seconds, things don't generally work out so well.

it's not a new trend, you do realize iron man was a comic made in 1963, right?

I thought that last summers 'shoot-em up' was better that 'wanted', although there was a slightly unbelievable scene where he falls out of a plane without a parachute. I just thought that the action in 'shoot-em up' was much more original than in 'wanted', having gunfights in places you wouldn't think they could, such as mid-air and while hes having sex.

I'll prob go to the movies to watch TDK, its been awhile, last one I think was Transformers. Hellboy 2 also looks pretty good.

hellboy II has the visual director from pan's labyrinth... i hope it has the same stellar visuals.

Yes, but it's more common now - is what I meant.

yes thats Wanted Shango. I will probably wait for Hankcock on video but I can't wait for TDK. Its my understanding they shot most of it on IMAx stco and we have 2 really nice IMAX theaters near me. I can't wait 80 ft tall Batman!!!:cool0018:

99% of the movies that have come out I am HAPPY I did not go to the theater and pay 10-20$ to see them.
I am grateful for the ways we have to watch them for free, for it seems they make shitty movies and rake in the cash from idiots that are tricked into thinking they are "cool" or are going to be "good".
The only movie so far this year I am going to see AND PAY FOR is BM TDK.
-------
Hancock: 8/10
Same old will smith down-on-his-luck-then-turns-himself-around type of character(similar to PoHappyness, but not really). The twist was alright, at least not a shamabaladayan type of crappy twist. I'd rather have had a norm superhero movie, just action and the story line the ads portrayed
Watched on a website, not dwnldd, so it was a lil crappier than it prob could have been if I had done so.
Still better than most the other movies this year IMO.
--------
Wall-e: 10/10
I loves any CG animation movie, no matter the age group target. From Toy Story to FF:TSW and AdventC.
What made me like this movie so much is it reminded me of a non-stupid-funny Idiocracy, and also the fact it showed a more realistic view at what would happen to our world if we keep going our current way.
Also the one "hidden" thing I saw: the first time the real-actor human Pres. is shown addressing the nation, I swear under him in the similar-looking Presidents Seal it says "Global Union CEO..something/impartial word".
Kind of also shows totalitarian-commercialism, as one company seems make EVERYTHING the humans use. Also how that has made us lazy. At the same time, IMO telling us companies are bad(not in a "they're evil" way)-- while coming from DISNEY/PIXAR.
--------
Wanted: 6/5
Lots of action, great effects(despite the net-cam version I watched), IMO alright-good acting.
Only problem was how fake the story was, as well as "abilities" of the char's.
Typical ninja-superhero-assassin type of BS that HWood loves to make.
Normal crap of loser to the cool-guy, rise-above main character.
Same old over the top action movie.
It did keep me watching, but this is one movie I am certainly happy I didn't pay for.
--------
Batman: Gotham Knight(the new animated movie)
7/10
5 stories from in 1 movie.
Kept me watching, liked how it showed what other people in gotham thought of BM. Supposed to be inbetween BB and TDK. Didn't like how the villans, such as scarecrow, looked nothing like any of the other scarecrows in the animated series, and on top of that he looked WRONG.
Did finish ok, still not BB or TDK, but ok to watch.
I personally don't recommend buying it, unless you're a collector, or you and/or your kids like/love BM.

you have to pay 10-20$ to see a movie at the theater? that kinda sucks...unless you are adding in the cost of popcorn or something lol
