Well, after working on it on and off for the past few weeks it is finally finished! :p
Thanks loads Zachz for answering my noob questions about how to do things during the making, and helping with the lighting, and (attempting) to fix the doors ;). and Ditship, for fixing the doors, making the skybox look cooler, and adding in other things.

will be uploading to fpsbanana shortly once i give it the finalfinalfinal look over..

Anyways, here are some screenies -

lol ty guys, and yea i usually play sniper/spy so i guess that sorta crept into the design of it haha ;)

lol ty y'all, and yea...it was bigger than this during the first attempt at it, i didnt realise how big things would be, on Hammer everything looks rly tiny i was thinking "that cant be right, a soldier could rocket jump that easy!" then i'd get ingame...and it was..like..well, a rocket jump would get you 1/5th of the way up...
so yea i scaled it down LOADS!

cool, it is currently hosted on Ikem (Zachz) server (can we NOT playtest it on there? no offence zachz, but your server is laggy man.) and 2 people did come and they tested it, and gave some great advice so i know some changes that could be made.

But yea if we could use one of the SF servers for a test run that would be awesome hint hint JokerZ/Eclyps :)

well it was cuz the connection. pandabear was on there later getting 80 ping. i just have to find a place i can have it plugged in.

Played it through finally, without people though. The map has a nice open feel. lighting and texture seems fine. Perhaps put a way for scouts to get across the middle point to the second point cause otherwise you have to go through the building like everyone else and be apart of the carnage. (just my thought) Make a way for the friendly team to get to their second point easier as well. Oh and the glass overlook, maybe make it into panels with a grid of something to walk on (maybe a 4x4 to avoid aiming to the second floor being too hard)

cool ty for the comments, i've had a few other non - SF people take a lot and give opinions (2 random people joined Ikem's server while i was there, so i stuck around to see what they would think) and they gave some very good ideas about how to improve, so when i get some time, and i can be bothered i will make some improvements, and good idea Alvari, im not sure, but on the far sides of the balcony's at the mid point there are some objects the scout should be able to use to get from one side to the other, im not sure.

Anyways. yea.
new map version coming within the next few weeks hopefully.

shang made a map? that's crazy I wish I had the drive to make one but naw plus it'd be for cs ... and it'd have sewers, a bridge, a few pits to fall to your death and um trogdor for good measure
