And what are your favorite games.
I started back in the original Atari days. "Space Invaders" and "Pac Man". Then Nintendo and NES. Sega, "Mortal Kombat" - FINISH HIM - FATALITY! PS1, "Blasto" voiced by the late Phil Hartman of SNLm. "Duke Nukem - Time to Kill" still have that disk, "Tomb Raider". PS2, "God of War" 1 and 2. "Lego Star Wars" both of em, "Ratchet and Clank", "Jack and Daxter" to name a few. Still have my original green screen Gameboy and my Gameboy SP. Inherited a Sega Game Gear from a friend. My wife and I each have Sony PSPs and a small library of games for our hour long train ride into and out of Chicago everyday.
And now, PandaBear Assassin is helping me plan out my next PC so I can continue my almost 30 years of gaming that began with the first quarter I ever begged off of my parents so I could play Pong or Space Invaders on some arcade machine. Gaming just keeps getting more and more fun and better looking and the jaw dropping awe is still there.

Im young compared to most of the people here, first system was NES, god I loved 'duck hunt' and 'spy hunter'. Then my parents surprised me with a playstation back in i think 98. I loved 'medal of honor' and 'ape escape'. Got a PS2 for Christmas in 2002 and just got a wii a few weeks ago. Oh and I used to have one of the old game boys that was as big as a brick, but it got stolen... In total about 13 of my 18 years have been with video games.

I'm probably younger.... I started on NES after it was out for a while, specifically Mario and Thrilla's Safari. Then N64 I started playing Super Mario, Donkey 64, StarFox, Zelda. Later I got into PC gaming.... Wolfenstein, CS 1.6. And here I am today.... Halo 3, CSS, Battlefield: Bad Company.

I've played the all-in-one PONG system. My grandma had it and we'd played everytime we went to visit her.
First one our family owned was an Intellivision.
Beat that. :p

Holy Shit, Timmah you are an old school Bad Ass. Intellivision and Pong. I remember the jealousy I felt when my friends got those and how lame I thoght my parents were til they finally caved and bought our first home console. And blahdan, thanks for the Duck Hunt reference. Didn't that also have skeet shooting on the same cartridge. Funny how they had that tech way back in the day, PS2 almost got it with the Eye Toy (have one of those too, try playing some of those games when you've had a few. Brought mine to a buddies gaming New Years Eve party a few years ago. It was a riot). But it took Nintendo to really bring it and itself back with the Wii. Hell, my Mom bought my Dad one for Christmas. I still had to set it up for them. The irony being my Dad is the guy who never got the appeal of video games, but is now happy that when he moves the controller it actually does something. It was always funny watching his whole body turn left or right or him lifting the contoller way up in the air while he tried to play Pac Man on our Atari system.

Not only did duck hunt come with a skeet shooting game, it also came with super mario brothers. The original. Once I get around to buying some wii points, im gonna get all my favorite old games. To tell the truth , my knowledge of consoles and video gaming before the NES is fuzzy.

1986 - Atari 2600, when I was 4 years old. Then the Gameboy, followed by my cousins's NES, followed by my Sega Megadrive, followed by playing Prince of Persia on a black and white PC running DOS in 1995, followed by my own PC running Windows 3.11 in 1996, which became my primary gaming platform. In 2002 I got an xbox (didn't like it and gave it to my cousin), and in 2004 I got a PS2 (rarely played, and gave it to another cousin), proving to myself that I'm a PC gamer through and through.

I remember having Pong in the early to mid '70s. From there to Atari 2600, Intellivision, SNES, N64, PS2, Gamecube, GBA, xbox and now we have a 360, a PSP and a DS somewhere in the house. So I've had many of the consoles that have come down the pipe. I didn't have a jaguar, 3D0, Saturn but I think thats about it. Also had a series of PCs and a Commodore 64 in the run of consoles too. Man I miss the commodore 64 that was such a fun computer at the time :evilgrin0036:

I really liked the last video link at the bottom. The 2 dorky kids that were dressed as pilots, one even had on an old leather pilot helmet on. Speaking to each other in bad british accents. The night mission, trying to avoid getting shot down. Things really peaked at the 8bit level.
