Word on the street (the street being steam) is heavy is next. Supposed to be released by end of July early August. I've heard rumors such as brass knuckles, and upgraded machine gun that shoots either faster or stronger bullets.

Its a good blog to follow, seeing as the director of the game is the one writing most of it, so you know its good info straight from the source. It sounds like they will be more and more open with future updates.

lol, that was an entirely fake post. I had no idea what class was getting upgraded next, the image was made specifically for that thread, but it seems that valve really is upgrading the heavy for reals.

cause you know, the heavy needs stronger bullets.

If the Heavy update is released in that time frame, it gives my hopes that Valve actually listened to us and are going to shorten the time between updates.

whoops, i looked on the recent pages and saw one that made everyone mad cuz it was a false one, but wasn't aware of scharns

but I don't think they even know what the new weps are gonna be yet seeing as how they want you to try and think of some.. lol

but that would be a great idea, like the heavy would hold like a howitzer shell that can only fire like once every 10 seconds but would do like huge dmg if it hits:fighting0038:
