I got this message in steam and wasn't sure if it was legit. It says it's a stompfest event...is this true or is it from some hacker? I'm a noob and get scared easily.

i am pretty bitter on the whole 1 million damage thing.. Before the update i had 590000 damage. I figured they would at least back count it like the medic healing points....i was wrong ...

It's not like the medic because they always tracked the healing stat. Damage dealt by the flamethrower is a new stat (not to be confused with total damage done per class).

Seeing as medic was my most played class when the first patch came out, I can safely say it would not have been fun to have to start at 0 damage healed for the 1 mil healing achievement.

Pyro is very fun when you get the backburner because it makes them mad when you go from the back. They get made.
