Cost: $50 at bestbuy
Look:
Sleek black look looks cool. The ear pieces wrap around the ear. Flexible mic can curve and swing parallel to the side or at an about 120 degree angle from the side. Features a headband to keep the headset sturdy on your head.
Performance:
The sound quality of this headset is excellent. It is the best headset I've used to date. I can hear footsteps clearly, can tell where they're coming from and react accordingly. Music also sounds pretty clear on this headset. Mic is not excellent, but in the middle between average and excellent, so pretty good I'd say.
Durability:
This headset is made from brittle plastic, so if you have an accident with this headset, it could very well be the last time you use the headset the way you bought it. Many people have complained about how the brittle plastic has snapped on the right earphone (the one without the mic) and broke off where the headband connects to the sides. I unfortunately was no exception and the headset cracked, didn't snap. I was able to get a replacement thankfully before it snapped completely off, but still you virtually need to treat these like a fragile piece of glass if you use them alot, not something gamers do very well.
Overall Flaws:
Definetly the fragile plastic used to make the headset. after only 3 weeks with them I had to get them replaced. Not a good sign.
I give this a 5/10. Good while it lasts. If you are someone who uses a headset every day for gaming, This headset isn't for you.
