First topic :)

I bought this headset as a replacement for previous brands that kept breaking and since this brand has a lot of esteem I figured I'd try it.

Cost: $50 on newegg + shipping.

Look:
Compared to most headsets this headset is rather small. The ear pieces don't wrap around your ear like some headsets. It features sliding mic and a pad attached to the top bar of plastic to cushion the top of your head.

Performance:
The sound quality is pretty good for music and gaming. There are most likely better headsets out there. My Rocketfish headset is just a bit better in quality to this headset, but this headset is also very good.
It is good that this headset doesn't have ear pieces that wrap around your ear because otherwise your ears would be hot after long gaming sessions, however, the tops of my ears can get a little achy after extended use of this headset.

Durability:
This headset looks like it wont suddenly break in half or anything on you. The only thing I'm worried about, apart from not working due to wiring, is the flexible ear pieces designed to bend around on a fixed object on the headset might break off after awhile, but they look like they'll last.

Overall Flaws:
I'd say the 2 overall flaws are the ear pieces causing ear ache, and the mic not being adjustable in length, because if i put the mic against my face when wearing it, it barely reaches my lip.

I'd give it a 9/10 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a headset.

I lol'd at that because I had a pair of headphones (Sony MDR-V700DJ) and suffered from the same problem for literally a whole year. Then one day I got completely fed up with my ears hurting and decided I was going to break those sons of bitches in half just to show them who was boss. Fortunately, I failed, and instead, my brutality simply stretched the band out a little bit and I've had happy ears ever since. I've had these suckers going on 4 years now and I'm still pain free and loving 'em.

Moral of the story: If you think the plastic band can take the strain, try stretching out the band a little bit by pulling the earpieces a good deal further apart than you usually do when you put them on (kinda like you were going to put them on a watermelon). Hopefully it'll strech enough w/out breaking that they won't push as hard against your ears and still have a snug enough fit that they don't fall off.

I guess my head isn't too big since the mic has a good amount of space all around. It does hurt my ears but thats after several hours of use.
