i never bought metal gear solid 3, but my uncle had it lol, so he let me play that, it was awesome.
this game looks friggin' fantastic!!
it might just convince me to save up for a ps3....when they are a little cheaper. :)

They do have that new bundle coming out the same day. The 80gb with MGS4 bundled for i think $560, go get that!

I'm glad to see PS3 finally coming into it's own. It's really starting to shine with the release of GTA IV and now this. This will definitely be a system seller. there's gonna be a 90 minute cutscene!

the 80g with MGS4 is 500$ around here or if not technically its the same price as the 80g before they took it off the shelves to put metal gear in it, anyway this is one i wont be getting ive got my 360 and no way am i dishing out 500$ for a bad blu ray reader with little to no games just to play MGS 4 ill stick to my xbox :)

PS3 is the best blu-ray player out there believe it or not lol. There is actually quite a few games that are great on the PS3. GTA IV (which actually runs better on PS3), Folklore, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry 4, Dark Sector. All great games and they'll only get better. Any game worth mentioning on 360 ends up coming out on PC anyway which makes it ultimately better by default hehe. I am kinda bummed Ninja Gaiden II didn't come out for PS3 though, i wanna play that :(. The funny thing is people bitch about PS3 price and Xbox 360 Elite is $450 and it doesn't even have blu-ray AND you have to pay for Xbox Live, I don't care what anyone says, that is and has always been complete fail. Xbox 360 is a good system but I believe PS3 will be the future, it has the capability to go a lot further.

I don't have a preference, i f*cking hate console war shit, 360 is a good system, I still think 360 is a great online console minus the Xbox Live garbage, PS3 doesn't have achievements yet but will soon. I'm playing Ninja Gaiden II right now and it's fantastic. I'm just saying that almost anything worth mentioning on that is on PC now. I'm not trying to hate

On a related yet infinitely better note. I have the game, and had a wonderful experience while waiting in line at ebgames. I'll just say this: I LOVE nerds... especially really violent ones that lack any sort of social skill. I'll post my story later, I have to go play now!

First, I'm on act 3 right now and MY GOD it's awesome. It's like playing a freaking movie except cooler than most movies out there lol.


Anyway so head to EB to get my copy of MGS4, i'm patiently waiting in line and a guy in front of me starts to get a little irritated. I talked to my friend at EB (he works there) after this was all over to figure out wtf happend. Anyway apparently there was these 2 guys that drove 40 minutes to our EB and got here at 8am (they open at 10) because they wanted the MGS bundle. Our EB only got one of them, so these guys go and sit down on some benches inside the mall (our mall opens at 9am but no stores open until 10). Another guy comes in and stands in front of the gate. My friend gets there a little before 10, has no way of knowing who was there first, he just assumed to guy at the gate was there first cause he was waiting in line while these other two guys were off like 20 feet away from the gate.

So of course, he helps the guy at the gate and he wanted the MGS4 bundle so he gives it to him, so these two guys get really pissed off that they won't sell it to him cause they say they were there first but my friend said the other guy was in line first, one guy was calm, the other one FLIPS OUT (this is when I showed up) and he's like "IT'S NOT ABOUT THE F*CKING LINE, WE WERE HERE AT 8AM! THIS IS F*CKING BULLSHIT, WE DIDN'T DRIVE 40 MINUTES AND HAVE YOU NOT SELL IT TO US!" Meanwhile there are like 20 people behind him in the store while he screams at the top of his lungs, i'm sure the entire mall could hear him. Anyway, so for like 5 minutes he's still screaming and i could barely hear myself talk to other people (literally), dropping the F bomb left and right, throwing his arms in the air. It was the most incredible display of douchbaggery i've ever seen.

The funny thing was i was trying really REALLY hard not to laugh, I kept glancing over at my friend while he argued with this guy curling my lips cause i really wanted to laugh at the guy getting so mad. At the time it happend I had no idea what was going on so I didn't feel I had the right to step in but i wanted to be like "Dude, it's a video game, I wanna play it just as bad as you but honestly...get a f*cking life* lol

Then he went off on some tagent about how he was 21 and an adult, i'm not sure what point he was trying to make but i wanted to be like "really? you think you're an adult while you act like that?" The guy that was being sold the bundle was calm and told the guy to relax but he kept trying to argue with him and the EB employee. My friend ended up calling security and the guy said he wanted to see the security cameras and prove he was there at 8am. Eventually he ended up just buying the game (which he had pre-ordered anyway lol) and left, but not before reaching the door, turning around and screaming at everyone in the store "all of you can just f*cking go to HELL!" It was then that the security guard escorted him out of the mall in handcuffs. It was fantastic.

Again, I LOVE violent nerds with no social skills. I still can't fathom getting so angry and belligerent over a video game, which is why i found it so hilarious. Not to mention this guy had a really screechy, annoying voice when he yelled so not only was it mildly amusing, it amplified the annoying factor by 20. THE END

man i hea that it happens all the time and ill be honest...i LIVE for that, i find it absolutely hilarious. ive seen several people just bitch and moan for no reason. some guy wanted his money back on shit he bought like 2 months ago with no receipt and tells me something like IM NOT LEAVING UNTIL I GET A REFUND im like buddy...theres a sports store next door, go buy a *^#$*^#$*^#$*^#$ing tent, and pitch it becaus your not getting anything back. he just kinda got discouraged and left and i told him not to bring bullshit tantums into my store again or hed be leaving with my foot print on his ass. (yeah i get violent with pissy customers). so yeah all in all some 90 pound geek piece of crap wouldve literally left my store flat on his face

Welp! I finished it, after a 7 hour marathon today and IT WAS FANTASTIC! It seriously felt like I was watching an incredible movie. I've never experienced a game like that, screw 10/10 score, if i could give it a 20, i would. Someone needs to finish it so I can talk with them about it :D

highly doubt it'll come for 360, Sony probably paid a hell of a lot of money to make it exclusive. Plus the game is just so damn huge that anything less than a blu-ray would fail, the game would be like 4 discs!

Finally finished the game. Holy hell! What a production! Not going to say that it was my favorite game of all time.... but it was most definitely the best production and the best put together game I've ever seen. Graphics were amazing, AI, gameplay, layout, controlls, everything just spot on. They even managed to explain the entire complex Metal Gear story line which just blows my mind that they were able to do. Add in the hour and 20 minute ending it was just awesome. IMO this game really shows the potential of the PS3 and lets it flex it's muscles a bit.
