First of all, I DID NOT DRAW THIS. It's merely a stock. Found it via internet. Don't know who drew it, but if you know, that's who the credit goes to.
Anyway, what I have so far:

That bar on the side is only for my icons. You may ignore it if you wish.
Now I took the drawing, altered the colors and did a little random brushing. Then I put the TF2 logo behind him. But...now I'm stuck. Everything I try to do just looks awful or doesn't fit. Any suggestions?

I think it looks cool, kinda resembles blacklight colors glowing. Screw the gay commentary, purple is the color of royalty in old school tribes/societies/unmodern places, and as for pink, well, that's just our stereotype of it.
Umm, what are you wanting to do with it? Make it into forum/steam pic? Tag? What????? Hard to help with not even know what you are wanting to do with it!

UPDATE:
Got rid of the pinkish colors because people didn't like it. Background's back to a grayish. I also changed the logo to look more like the TF2 one and I changed the colors via overlays and gaussian blurs:

Still pink on logo and spy you fail
if you are using PS, this is what i suggest you do. Create a gradient map black and white and set the blending mode to color. From that, use color balance, gradient maps, and photofilters and make multiples of each one with varying colors and use the vector mask to cut each one out in parts to create a color you want.
