My wife bought a Wii this past weekend in an attempt to get me to spend more time with her instead of TF2. So maybe I'll have to get in on this once she picks up Mario Kart and a LAN adapter (Ethernet plug in the living room FTW). :)

Wii has built-in wifi, so no need. Like an idiot, I only had one drop put in the living room. For some reason, I have two in the garage though - like I thought I'd be working on cars with a laptop or something? Wifi made the whole garage thing moot anyway.

I was not aware of this. You are a scholar and a gentleman. I presume it supports WPA? Will have to see if I can get it online tonight...

Oh yeah, it supports a couple of encryption schemes and even non broadcasting SSID.

Also, how many controllers do you have? If you have only one you can buy another for $40, but for $50 you get one with WiiPlay. $10 for a game is a good deal imo.

We have 2 controllers already. Will need the wheels for Wii Kart, but those are like $10.

I agree with the wheel being unnecessary. I'm not too crazy about them, could easily do without.

Wii supports 4 controllers. I ended up buying 4 for when friends visit.

I've gotten use to the classic controller, although the GameCube one is my favorite cause its like playing Double Dash.. the best game in the series :o
