Confirmed Medic Achievements (Yes, they've been changed)

Most of the Achievements have been dumbed down (ie 2 heavy knockouts instead of 4)

The 5 kills / cap point might be a bit difficult still, but all in all it's alright for the changes. Real shitty deal about the 10mil Heal Points though, that would've definitely insured that there'd even be a little bit o' a challenge to getting these.

Hmm... it's nice some of them are easier, but I was also looking forward to the 10 million heal points thing. A lot of these seem like things most medics already do anyway.

Speaking of, do we know if you do any of these prior to the update that you'll get that achievement when they release it?

I remember the first time I spent an entire day healing...dirt bike hand, lol. I thought there must be a better way and have learned the solution since then. I laugh every time I see someone talking about scripting to stay on a target healing...RTFM.

Yeah my hand used to cramp up when playing medic, so I did some research and it said that increased masturbation would help relieve the symptoms I was having, since then 3 times a day and no cramping!

No no, it involves more skill than that. Like any other class, you have to aim (at a teammate) and mouse-click AT THE SAME TIME. :p

Actually, I think playing medic does involve a degree of skill. Sure it's easy to play, but not necessarily easy to play well if you're playing against decent players, since they know well enough "kill the medic!". Good medics know how to defend themselves, not just heal.

And I may have missed something, but everyone knows that there's now a built-in option to lock-on heal, right? As in, a single left click to start healing someone and the rest is automatic, without any custom scripts. Don't know why anyone wouldn't have this enabled.

LOL. I had the opposite problem - hand cramping from too much masturbation, so I've learned to scale it back to 3 times a day. I figured playing TF2 as much as I do would help me cope, but then someone says something like "man, we're getting nailed", and *dianne* has to come back with "oh, but i like getting nailed.... HARD".

So anyway... 4 times a day isn't too painful.

when i said the noob medics will just hold down the button i mean they will just continually heal a guy even at max health while another guy is dying and doesnt even care because they think that you can get heal points with a max'd hp guy

Wow..i found this server that accelerates almost everything including healing and these guys got like 1 mil every 15 minutes of pure healing because it kept reseting peoples health to like 10 hp and it accelerated the healing ray by 5x. I was like..wow i hope the server gets closed down or those people's achievements reset cause people who do that make the game lame.

You need sv_cheats for these to work.

When you put on sv_cheats on any server it says "Achievements are disabled for this server."
