Have the CPL version of this mouse and love it. My Mx518 is sitting here in a backup role now.

I have heard from a lot of people that they don't like how it is set up for either Right or Left handed users. Most people are used to the way a normal mouse feels and the Razer products feel too unnatural in their hands. I use the Mx518 and it is slightly curved so your LMB is higher then the RMB making for a natural feel in your hand. The Razer mice are identical on both sides. I also like how big the Mx518 is. It takes up almost my entire hand end to end and is fairly tall. The Razer mice seem to be rather thin.

dunno who's feeding you what, but this is a right handed mouse, modeled after the MSIE3.0 mouse, cept with better buttons, feel and 1800dpi Razer Precision 3G infrared sensor and 1000Hz Ultrapolling/1ms response time.
Damn good mouse

It's a great mouse mechanically speaking, just wish it were "thicker" like the MX500 was from Logitech.

if you ever used the Microsoft intellimouse 3.0.. i think you'll like this mouse. It's modeled after it, just the buttons don't suck, and the side buttons actually pop out and have some resistence, instead of wondering if you just hit the button or not. And it's purely a right handed mouse.
I love it, probably wont use anything else, and the fact that it's 25 at circuit city, makes me want to go buy 2 more.
and jmaster, try using the mouse before you knock on it.. The buttons feel natural, and it's one of the biggest razor mice. I have a very big hand, and this thing fits like a charm (not like, basketball player hand, but it's big ;o )

I love my G5, but it was a bit on the pricey side, I have one of these in backup though because its solid, plays well, and as noted before, relatively cheap.

OK, so this is their ONLY right handed mouse. Every other one they make is Ambidextrous so it is not curved to fit one hand over the other. It's pics are deceiving as it looks like the rest of them.

change view, and it becomes extremely obvious. Take it from a guy that hates razor, and owns the death adder.
it's the shit.

I'd agree with some of these replies.
My mx518 is just chilling in a corner while I use my deathadder.
Deathadder is different but you have to get used to it.
Most people I know who use it on a more competitve level rather than as just a "hobby," agree that its better (in their opinion). You have to try the mouse out for more than a day to get accustomed to it. The most recent person I know who got it told me he liked it but he was using his wrist in lieu of his arm for aiming.
Also, the deathadder is basically a better version of the ms 1.1/3.0.
There are a few mice that are supposed to be "upgraded" versions of the 1.1/3.0 but they haven't really hit the mainstream. (Microsoft habu, Steelseries intellimouse explorer 1.1/3.0)

I love my copperhead. The best mouse I've ever owned. It was awkward to get used to, in its design and speed, but now that I have grown accustomed...
Price was a concern before I bought it, but never more.

I've got 3 more of these new in box in case they stop manufacturing them with all their new designs they are dropping. I hate it when I buy something, love it, it breaks, and I can't *^#$*^#$*^#$*^#$ing find it anymore :(

I love my copperhead as well. Never thought i could tell the difference between a gaming mouse and a regular laser mouse and this mouse totally changed my tune. Recently, my copperhead started going wacky, turning off and on during the middle of doing anything. I called them and asked for a replacement and they sent me an RMA and I got a brand new one! Great service too! I guess there should be for what they charge...
