Spore, anyone else heard about this game?

Spore looks pretty damn cool i am gonna have to say, my friend told me about it and i checked it out.
Apparently its coming out on September 7th tho.
looong time away, and i've been waiting over a year lols :rolleyes:.

I haven't been following it very much ever since they changed the looks to be more cartoonish. Still going to be a cool game, but I really would have preferred the more realistic look

I think it looks like a lot of fun.

The cartoonish look (like WOW) is probably an attempt to make the game more timeless. Cartoony graphics don't look old/dated/ancient in 3 years like realistic graphics do.

I still play Black and White 2 every now and then. I remember upgrading my PCI card to 64MB just to play the original. Absolutely amazing games.

I had the first Black and White and never really did much besides throw people and crush their houses with rocks. It was still pretty fun though.

I think I had a tiger looking creature but I could never get him to do anything useful.

get the second. Even though it's a few years old, the visuals maxed are stunning, and the game is MUCH better...

I had pretty much the same experience. Thing kept crapping everywhere and ate villagers. You can only smack him around so much before he turned evil. I tried the multiplayer with a friend and it wasn't that great. I was really (as usual) playing at the limit of my hardware and that probably had a huge effect on the outcome.

I found the install cd the other day and have been giving some thought to playing it again. Really don't have time for it though...I bought Super Mario Galaxy when it came out and haven't even played it yet!

I thought B&W would be amazing, and then they decided to either set your creature back or take him away entirely every other land. Lame.

okay you guys srsly didn't try B&W2? That game was SOOOO much better and looks SOOOO amazing maxed. No more ghey hand gestures either.
