Running a Mirc Channel ?

I want to run a private MIRC channel for me and my friends . How would I go about doing this? and by having my own channel can I kick people from the channel ?

oh thanks a lot. I just want a reliable server for 10 people and admin privelages to boot people. I have never actually been on Mirc but I think this will suit my side business well .

a 10 man mirc server oh boy! you're gonna be throwing in so much money and dedication for this it's so tough to run a mirc server!!!! costs even more for booting priviledges

well you can just have a channel in a already good server and i costs nothing, thats what i did. you can create a channel in the irc.psigenix.net without paying.

and you have admin priv to kick and ban people from your channel, but as saucey said, it would we worthless just for 10 people to take an entire server, now i channel, i can see

Well a chanell would be fine then. I just want something reliable and I wouldn't mind paying for it to be reliable .

register a nick, then register a channel
then add some things to perform on connect in mirc so you auth when you log into gamesurge

and then you have your channel
name it #landofgays

I'm also going to get a ventrillo host if you guys could recommend one that would be great (also for 10 people)

well pretty much I got my channel set up , made it invite only , and the best IRC Client (tried 6) is MIRC . The other 5 I could not figure out how to change the port number and they wouldn't connect to gamesurge . Thanks everyone I got it working .
