Dont know if it was mentioned before, but DODS would be nice.
Those that went to the lan, the guys put up a dods server (around 2am) and you saw how many ppl started to play.

DoD is freakin sweet, haven't played the source one too much but it's definitely fun. yeah i think it'd be a good alternative! :)

I like DoD personally more than DoD source
The feel of DoD source is really odd. Not like CS and CSS which is not very different.
