w/e u do, if u get the sata cable from WD, be prepared to go buy a sata cable b/c the send you something that can really only be used with a dvd drive. it has a tip which limited my installing it w/o going to bestbuy to buy a 2 inch replacement cable.

i dont know, its only 1.5Gbps transfer rate... you might as well get a regular 7200rpm drive that does 3.0Gbps. not to mention for that price you can buy two 320gb's and put them in raid 0. double the pleasure, double the fun!

sata 1, and 2 are the same connections, its just the HD is capable of higher transfer rates. so you can use the same cables for both.
