ya the tethering hax would be the main reason i would JB my phone.
but im lucky that i work in the IT dept that i can just take home a aircard that has broadband speeds.

there are alot of nice apps out there for the JB phones, just scared im going to brick mine if i ever do it.

I think that it is pretty hard to brick an iPhone now. I tried really hard the other night to do so and I recovered it no problem with all of my stuff back because my computer stores a backup of the iPhone. If you want any help and can give you the proper tools. I am on the newest firmware as well. 1.1.4

You can unlock it with the hacks. The sim card comes right out of the top of the phone.
