Sometimes I see folks looking for a decent, older laptop. Good for testing things out, e-mails, taking notes, web surfing and other general tasks.
Dell Latitude CPt V
Pentium Celeron 450
(came with 64mb memory) I have upped it to 512MB
(came with a 6.4Ggb HD) I have upped it to 60GB
Nice clear 14 inch color screen.
Keyboard & touchpad work great.
Build in sound with speakers and audio-out.
CD-ROM Drive
Svideo out
Several batteries (some work, some don't)
All drivers and manuals are found on Dell's site.
It was made for Win98, but with the upgrades I have done it runs WinXP Just fine. Also comes with a PCMCIA card containing a modem jack and a 10/100 network port. I'd like $100 for it, but would possibly go lower.
OR, the first person who can get me the memory below, can have the laptop
