Not bad...My one suggestion, get some better sample libraries lol I hate the sound of midi but for the purposes of techno stlye music it works. I liked in the beginning a lot, not necessarily the message but the idea was great.
My husband is a composer as well. www.davidpencil.com
I think you would like Echo Chamber, cool times and rain falls

Thank you both!

BTW dianne- He makes nice music indeed! I like ambient/atmospheric music a lot.
I have 20gb of samples so far. Which song were you speaking of, "raver"? One of the least liked by me, but everyone else seems to like it. If not that, ?.

The programs I use:

Fruityloops
Abelton
Reason 4
Acid 7
Soundforge 8
Rebirth

Some more than others, primarily Reason and Fruityloops to make songs, Soundforge to edit.

Dave has:
Gigastudio, Voices of Passion, Ra by Quantum Leap, Philharmonic Orch, Sonic Syth, Sample Tank, He uses Finale and is Learning Sibelius, and has Digital Performer. I know he's got a lot more than that but I am unsure of what they are. He is a film composer and the industry is moving heavily towards samples. So we have been growing his library.

So does he use real instruments? I've never heard of any thing that you mentioned, except gigastudio and sampletank.

do you have any studio(personal, work area, etc.) pics? I always like seeing other's set ups.

I could take a pic of my "studio" but it would just be a pic of the comp.!

I have/can use pro tools as well, along with other prog's like cakewalk, but I honestly despise them. I also don't use FL studio that much any more, after reason4 and able-ton 5. It is still a good program though. BTW I'm using FLS7xxl.

Seems like every program has something I like, From
the way fruitylooops looks and works(user comfort)
the way ableton loops/syncs music/loops
the way reason looks(rack mounts!)
the way it's easy to edit in SF.

Each program has their own unique effects, some I like more, such as FL's reverb and other effects over the other's.

Now what would be great would for me to be some programmer/hacker and make my all-in-one program with pieces of each program....
