Today I did my first Ban as an admin.

When on the Instant spawn server, when it was filling up, a player named Turd Nuggit joined. I saw him play the other day as well, so it wasnt his first time to the server.

Today after a few requests from the players I decided to Spectate him. I did a few recordings after I saw him (mainly as sniper and later as a scout) Aiming at Spies as they came out of the spawn *Dustbowl* Fully cloaked. He would either HS them then, or wait till they get closer and chase after them with the machine gun before he uncloaked and attacked. He did this a few times on Dustbowl and later as a Scout in Warpath. I was having troubles fully figuring out the recording process so I did miss him killing the spies with ease, but there are other areas of him having his aimer on people before they entered the screen.

Now, I did manage to record some demos of him wallhacking which is very obvious with his way of aiming and fighitng technique. So I took it upon myself after watching him over 2 maps to perm. ban him from the Instant Spawn server.


Ummmm Correction... I cant find the demos now... I typed record demo turd did about 5-6 different recordings, and at the end I had to ask how to stop a recording cause I didnt know... Pros and Lung can hopfully vouch for it because I asked them in Steam chat :)

So umm... I did a search for the name of the demo turd(#s) and *.dem and it only found the demos that I had downloaded from previous posts.



Does it save it in a different format or did I just screw up?

I'll second this, because I was the spy he would be shooting while I was fully cloaked.

2 occations I can remember.

both happened on the second stage of dustbowl.
First time I was fully cloaked running past him. I noticed he was shooting at me so I retreated, let my cloak recharge and then I ran circles around him and he was looking at me the whole time.
Second time I was crouch walking and he was in the building with the health and +200 metal engie drop (the level forms an L and it was teh building at the bottem of the horizontal part) I crouch walked up to him to see if it was maybe my footsteps he heard. He was watching me the whole time as I was walking up, took out his machette and killed me.

The other map of which I was in the server was Warpath, he was obvious wall hacking there too, but it seemed like he was using aimbot too with a scout (this time I was on his team) and he seemed to shoot ppl very well dispite strafing, not to mention seemed to know where everyone was.

You just have to type 'record demoname'....

so you probably recorded to demo.dem. It should've told you what the filename was when you type the command.
