How many of you tf2 players are thinking about going to the LAN?

I'm pretty much 100%, but I haven't heard many of the tf2 players talking about it.

Oh I didnt realize it was in Indy, I figured it would be in Chicago... Indy is only just over an hour away (Fort Wayne here)... Now im tempted! Plus the GF can come and ill send her off shopping... its a win win! Does this cost money? :) the even thingy wasnt specific, and im guessing we gotta find ourselves a hotel?

The event is free, but there is a $20 fee to hold your seat (you will get it back when you get to the LAN, it's just to make sure we don't have any no-shows). As for hotels, since there are so many of us going, most of us are going to split rooms. We won't be spending much time there, since we'll usually be gaming. Last LAN I went to I split a room with 2 local friends, acula, armond, and myself. Cramming 5 people in a 2 person room is quite entertaining.

We're probably going to set up an "official hotel" where we can all go so we can share rooms/carpool together, so if you don't want to fend for yourself I'm sure others are willing to share.

My husband and I might go. It's only a couple of hours from us. We're waiting to see if he has finals that week. If so then it's a no go, but if not then I have a feeling we'll make an appearance.

Ya actually he's to blame for my gaming addiction. I used to get mad at him for playing games for more than an hour...after getting upset about it for a few years I decided can't beat him join him. So I did. He introduced me to my two loves UT2004 and TF2. I was sort of bummed about UT3 sucking so bad and my comp not being able to run it so he showed me the light that is TF2! Hubby plays Halo 3 on his X-box, Crysis, and UT3 on comp. He used to play WoW, BF2, and a few others. He's a noob in TF2 though sometimes he plays. Anywho, hopefully we'll be able to attend. It will be my second lan! I went to one in KY with my old HO clan. Here's the video and some pics! hehe. It was a lot of fun.
