Nvidia Drivers/Control Panel

Does anyone know why they got rid of the classic control panel? I used that to adjust brightness/digital vibrance between 1.6 and source and once I updated my drivers, I have to use the "new" control panel :confused:

from what i know, once you go new, you can't go back to the old. *sigh* i use other programs to tweak my v-card anyways so i use that to tweak my video settings as well. I use RivaTuner v2.06.
