If I had to go with an unnecessarily expensive keyboard, I'd go with the G15. I do like the feel of it, because it almost feels like a normal keyboard.

In certain games (mainly RPG), the programmable keys could be used to advantage. Not much, but there's still that option.

Don't know why I even put the Tarantula or Saitek up there since I absolutely despise those trashy keyboards. Tarantula; too much room. Saitek; don't like the keys. G15-maybe I'll get the new one. I have the Microsoft Reclusa right now; I think I might return it since I keep hitting the "CDKEY" Eject button on it..what the fucks the point of that honestly.

I personally don't even really like logitech "GAMING" products or products manufactured by logitech that gamers use. (Logitech G5, G7, G9, Logitech Keyboards G15 inclusive). Only decent Logitech product imo is the mx518. But razer deathadder >.

macro keys are only good for like, RTS games. But even then you can map out a regular keyboard to suit your needs. If I ever decide to set the macros on this thing it'd just be so I can spam seekers in C&C3 with 1 press of a button.

Basically if I spent that much money on a keyboard it would have to look like it cost a fortune, other wise my wife wouldn't shut up about how I could have used the giant white one from a Dell she had eight years ago or something.

With the g15 i can throw 2 flashes, he nade, smoke nade, and then quickly switch back tomy primary in mere seconds :P

I voted for the G15. I already got one, and I love it. That LCD screen, the blue lit lights. And the extra 18 keys for spamming purposes.
Very nice. Seats well with my G5 and G51. And this is the only G-Series product I bought that wasn't preordered :(

G15 for sure. I got one yesterday, and it is pure awesomeness. I feel guilty about spending that much money, but it is awesome.

Only real complaint I have is that the LCD doesnt work with the games we play (CS, CoD4, Tf2), however it is nice taht ventrillo and xfire work on it, so if anyone comes into the vent server and talks, i can look at the LCD and see whos talking :)
It takes a bit of getting used to as well, particuararily because the keys are placed so close together, and I'm used to widened center keys (T Y G H B N) on my old keyboard.

Still learning about the macros, I've been screwing around with them and made a macro for COD4 that crouches, aims and spams the gun :)

Very interesting thing, but very fragile as well, as it looks like if you bump the LCD against something it might crack. And one of my friends told me how he spilt a little water on his and the backlighting doesn't work for his anymore. Problamatic for me cause I eat alot at the comp :)
I've destoyed 2 keyboards a year ago due to spilling, but my previous one I didn't spill anything at all, and I hope to not spill anything on this peice of brilliance :p

To those of you in the other thread who spend alot on cologne, skip a bottle/take a shower (we all know people skip a shower sometimes and mask it with cologne :p ) and buy one of these :p

Actually, get Echovoice for CS:S. It's a G15 Module that uses the LCD, displays stats like K/D Ratio, your stats on weapons. All you need is turn on debugging on the game, and it auto updates for you (And spams the shit out of the console)

I lovs newegg, RMA'ing this one to get a G-11. I need no retarded LCD to tell me game stats. I hit that button called TAB, it's not hard to do....
Logi is a very established comp wit quality.

However, EVERYTHING about the Saitek I loved, weight, colors, feel, style/look, massive no-slip grips on bottom, height adj's, it's just the damn keys not registering.
