Block the WoW servers at the next Stompfest event. I am an avid Warcrafter myself - but at the last event I think it seriously hindered participation in other games, and realistically I would say the majority of the people probably play on a server with whoever they are sitting next to so it kind of defeats the purpose of the event.

I'm all about blocking any MMORPG access for that matter at the event. If you want to be able to show everyone there all your uber armor, just bring some screenshots.

very good point.

people can play WOW from thier home. WOW isnt really a LAN event unless it is a WOW lan event.

if people are at a LAN, i think they should atleast be playing againsr or with people who are at the LAN

That would be awesome. I don't play any MMORPG's so, it's been hard to find a good LAN where everyone isn't playing WOW.

Does CS:S count as a MMO? I hope so. They seem to cry about as much as WoW players at LANs.

Just one more request - any chance of blocking the 'mouth' port on the tard who was yelling obscenities at the last event? If that isn't possible, maybe he can simply pass out photos of himself before the event starts, that way we can all pat him on the head and say "yes, we know you exist, now sit quietly while we game". Good times....
