2fort on [SHORT RESPAWN TIME *STATS*]

I've always wondered this, and it might already be in the forums. If so, sorry in advance.

Why is 2fort on this server if there is a 24/7 2fort server? I can't speak for every person that plays on this server but I know many regulars who will either disconnect, take a break, or grudgingly play through it.

If I want to play 2fort, I go to that server. If I want to play the many other enjoyable maps, including the increasing number of custom ones, I will hit up the PRO server or Short Respawn. When 2fort hits, its painful.

Just my 2 cents.

Well 2fort is the most popular map, even if boring mindless drone players are the only ones that like it. The 2fort server is usually filled 24/7.

The 2fort map on the other servers is mostly just to mix things up a bit, being as it is the only "capture the flag" map. Well...except Hall of Death, but people generally don't like it either. The time for 2fort has been shortened a lot since the servers went up due to complaints.

Many people actually do like it, they just don't feel the need to broadcast it like the people who complain about it do. If it were up to me I'd love to see this map get replaced with ctf_impact.

Edit: I thought you horrible snipers liked 2fort?

Anyways, we've had a bunch of these threads, so I'll give it a shot. Today I'll replace 2fort on the normal rotation with ctf_impact.

We'll see how it goes for a couple days

And Hall of Death is that really really small map right? I think that map is WIN

Impact = 2Fort except instead of a sewer there is another path to the side.
Same exact idea as 2fort, turtle ur base and try and get them to come to you.
