Mic Volume in TF2 ?

I have to adjust my mic volume in TF2 everytime I play it . It never stays at what I want it to be even after clicking apply and okay . I change other settings and all the other settings stay except for the Mic volume. Does this happen to anyone else ?

yep..every time i log on i have to go into settings and test/adjust my mic.. gets annoying.. but does only take like 5 seconds, i do it before i even try to get on a server.
