you did this all by yourself or did you have help with the work? i've recontructed a lot of old homes with my older brother and my dad. it's almost a side job (i consider it a job) but my dad calls it "investment". hence why we have like 7 different houses thru out the states. very nice job in any case.

it was pretty much just me and katie. her dad helped with a few things, like patching some massive holes in the drywall. The hardest part was taking down all the gd wallpaper... it took us a good 3 weeks to do that alone

I was really wanting to replace my cabinets, but I didn't realize that just the fronts would be like 4 grand minimum :(

maybe in a few years...

It is amazing what paint (wall treatments), carpet (new flooring), good lighting, and a really good cleaning will do to a place.

My wife figured out that I had allot of tools...so she is asking me to "earn my keep." God knows she has had to earn hers!

yea it waws probably mostly in the cabinets. they had to tear out all of the old cabinets, tear out the bulkhead, the flooring, redo the drywall, then all brand new custom cabinetry, granite countertop, all these retarded custom lighting. whats retarded is he goes and spends that kinda cash on a stupid ass kitchen then turns around and tells me he might not have enough for my college tuition. yea right
