Battlefield 2142?

Hey all, was wondering if you guys were thinking about starting up a Battlefield 2142 server.

oh, and, tbh, I don't think we'd have much of a chance with a bf2142 server. almost none of our admins play that game (I bought it and played it about 6 times and said f it) and there doesn't seem to be a huge demand for it.

I played it then decided that it was worse the BF2 so i stick to BF2

I'd suggest Day of Defeat or Half life 2 Deathmatch over BF2142.

And the percentages of hackers are much higher in BF2142 than CSS. My friend siad that atleast 1 out of 2 good BF players hack now a days.

Are you sure? Cause punkbuster is way more solid than VAC. I wouldn't really know though cause I don't play the game. Too slow.

If by large scale strategy you mean fags fighting to get a vehicle and trying to cover distance when you don't get one (which is impossible). Then yes.

Man BF 2142 was my game!! I played that nonstop b4 I went back to CS Source and then to TF2...2142 was a fun game being that I played every series of Battlefield. I don't remember any hackers playing, and how exactly do they hack? I always tried to master the flying vehicle and if I couldn't kill someone I'd just kamikaze it into a walker and jump out at the last second...good times

I liked 2142 for what it was. IMO you can't really compare it to CSS or TF2, completely different games.
