Hi All,

Princess told me you guys were the place to be for TF2....not that I trust her judgment.. shhhhh ( she is a little wonky..) ;)

I just have a couple questions about your server configuration hardware wise and who your rental company is and if you are happy with them?
What are the specs on your box? Prin said it was dedicated, so I was wondering how many game servers you can run on it smoothly, and or voice server(s) and the CPU memory etc....

I am trying to decide what level of hardware I'll need for running a few servers of various flavors...TF2 being at least one.

Thanks in advance..

Peace,

lol welcome chef :)

We're currently running a 30 man and a 24 man TF2 server on a dual 3.0GHz Xeon box with 4GB ram. Ram usage is low but CPU is high. I did some searching and it looks like srcds is not liking Xeons lately. We're overall fairly happy with our host, which is Art of War Central.

Thanks for the info.
Do you have a good source for TF2 server settings maps etc.. ?

Thanks again,

Happy Holidays and have a Great New Year!

EDIT: Here let me make your life easier by breaking it down to the TF2 section lol http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/games/297

check around the steampowered forums. www.steampowered.com there's a lot of good info in the dedicated server sections
