Cmedia Sux!

Whatever you do, avoid the name Cmedia in your hardware.

I bought a motherboard with a cmedia sound card from them and my mic didn't work. They have no support what so ever so I couldn't fix the problem, their only support system is a public forum where other users can post solutions, but that forum is inactive.

Luckily my dad is a computer guy and he had a few extra sound cards so he put one in for me.

In short....Avoid anything to do with Cmedia >:(

actually I seem to remember having problems with the sound in my first custom built PC, which also had cmedia hardware. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

It wasn't the sound in my case, its just my mic refused to work. I know it was a Cmedia problem considering my mic worked the day before when I had my old parts not to mention I could hear myself using that crappy Cmedia CP :P
