Yes, i have taken the "Project" over. I was informed by some players that nothing was happening with it. And since I've been through CAL in CSS. And other "pro" gaming reforms i decided I'll start the clan/team for you guys.

Questions that Halfwit asked:

how competitive is this ? TWL has over 90+ active clan/teams for TF2. So yes its very active.

is it just a tag? For us to be sponsored by Stompfest. You have to use [SF] tag. And if you wear that. Then you are part of the clan/team. But you must be accepted into it. You can't just throw it on. We take this seriously x)

will there be events? Events? We can do something. Get back to you on that.

how many teams are you making ? There will be one team. Its like CAL and any other "pro" gaming arena.

how many per team ? Depends what the team chooses what ladders it wants to fight in. There is up to 9players v 9 players on TWL

how many other clans/guilds have you contacted who are interested in matches? None yet. We are just building this up. I need more players.

what times are our practice times ? That everyone will know as soon as the whole team is made and etc.

what are the requirements for getting in ? For right now. Any regulars or any really good outsiders. Just either send me a demo of you playing. Or link me to your stats page.

i have already done some research and work on this planing on starting after the holidays

i think you 1st off should have 2 teams a competitive one with ____ tag.

and a non competitive branch with ____ tag and looser requirements for being tagged .

reasons are as follows
1st off fill ins when someone cant make it

2nd reason constant training of others who wish to become better and play with better people.

3rd the sense of a tighter community

4th if it is fun and you have good admins and fair people playing . other will want to be apart of it .

5th people who belong to something have a vested interest in its success
with will and should relate into more subscriptions

6th more subscriptions = more prizes = more competitions = more servers = more people =best gammming community out there !

actually, yeah. I like the idea of multiple teams. That way the teams can scrim against eachother and both sides will gain experience and skill.

Ya in the HO clan we had two different teams in TWL for UT2004 for the reasons Halfwit stated above. It worked out really well for the most part. In fact both teams ended up competing in TWL and the underdogs did pretty well. Although if you're looking to win it all, you have to have the best of the best on one team. We divided the best of the best with even the crappy players and that was our downfall. So I'm with halfwit on having one competitive and one not competitive.

Anywho, I play a lot so pick me pick me. And I can't find my freakin stats link because when I changed my name to Summdoggy<SF> I think it jacked some of them. Also the search thingy is down right now. =P

the 9 man is highlander isnt it (there can be only one of each class) the 8 man is any class rules are we doing highlander while it seems kinda fun i think the 8 man is better imo guess thats something we need to talk out with the team

Lets try to keep recruiting to a minimum now since soon enough we will see the [SF] tag all over the server.

I also like the idea of a month of practice, or atleast 2 weeks. Setting a time and making a new server would be great, but if that's too much hassle that's fine :). If a new server is possible, we should keep the IP exclusively for clan members only to practice. Either we can have a set time period for 6v6, 8v8, 9v9, w/e, or members can just go in and practice with each other.

No worries Team 2 will not only be super fun but I imagine we could compete too if the demand is there which I'm pretty sure it is. I'm sure Jelly won't mind. We'll put together an awesome team as well. It will be nice to have both teams to use together for practices and for all players to teach one another about tricks of the trade each of discovered.

Team two must wear the tag [SF2] behind your name (except u cons cuz ur an admin), and join the stompfest team group in steam that Jelly and taco posted. You can go to my steam id page and view my groups and then join that way if you like. Please join by this weekend. With the holidays right around the corner I won't be on too much as I'm sure most everyone at stompfest will be busy. I think we'll have more time after the holiday season to sort out the bugs. This is all new and is coming at a time when many of us are preparing for Christmas and New Years among other holidays. If any of you three have any suggestions as to who else we might want to recruit for team 2 please pm me.

my goal is top 25 and even out my kill to death ratio. Yesterday I had a span of 36-3 but ended with a awful ratio after I had to guard the front entrance . I have played 70hrs in the past two weeks. I actually picked up orange box because it was on sale before my computer was built. I actually bought it for half life. I haven't even played that game for an hour. TF2 on the other hand I have played for weeks .
