2 perma bans

there was a blatant hacker, pretty much anyone in the server at the time can back me up. had to take it with fraps cuz im obviously unable to handle the basic menu that an admin has. so unable to wrap my head around the concept of the MANI plugin that i typed a partial name and perma banned myself as well.

armond, we have a demo system. i can't perma ban some1 till i see a demo that clearly shows the player in question hacking. and for you armonod....i shall show u the way of the demoing...

Step 1.
-Observe the player in spectate mode or when you die. Spectate is easier.

Step 2.
-Type in you console "record demoname" ("" marks not needed). Demo name should show who your watching and what they're doing. Example: Armond21<SF>_Aimbot. After you hit the command get outta console and enjoy the show.

Step 3.
-When your done recording, go to console again and type "stop". This will stop ur recording.

Step 4.
-You'll have to submit the demos to our FTP server so I or another higher level admin can review it and ban them. Best to Zip your demo's if you have multiple demos.
-You can find your demos in your CS:S folder. Example: C:\Valve\Steam\steamapps\armond21\counter-strike source\cstrike.

Hint: If your first demo shows nothing obvious, overwrite your file by typing in the exact demo name (push up key to cycle back thru your previosly used commands would work here). Keep demoing like so till you get a good demo.

Hint 2: If demo was good but you want more proof, get mutliple demos and name them accordingly. Example: Armond21<SF>_Aimbot01, Armond<SF>_Aimbot02, etc.

Hint 3: If you don't know the FTP info, check out the admin forums.

Special note to non admins: Since we moved this to public forums, I take it we are allowing others to submit demos as well. If you are not admin and think you have a demo of a a hacker, admin abuse, annoying roudly player that's ban worthy, PM a higher level admin and we'll set something up with you. That would be ONE, Jokerz, Eclypse, Brizad, Dwightery, Distrubed.

again, i apologize. this guy and his friend were both blatent and ppl were starting to leave. i understand you cannot do a perma for someone if you dont have all the proper demo. ill figure out how to use all this stuff very soon. ill definately have things set up right in the future.

If you're not sure, or don't want to perm ban, i find ma_ban 60 spaz works most of the time. But as zero says, get a demo, if you don't mind, and let one of the upper level admins take a look.
