The Stompfest server I play on everyday is actually the first TF2 server I've ever played on, it's like my online home now for gaming. It's a 2Fort server, as much as I like this map, I'd like to know if other Stompfest servers offer different maps.

:) welcome Spaghetti! Look at the mail page of stompfest. There are 4 servers at the top. 2 for TF2, 1 for CSS, and one for CoD4.

The TF2 server with the normal rotation is 69.13.15.17. Add it to your favs. It usually fills up in the morning.

This is the first online shooter I've played much, the variety of classes allows for different playstyles. Such as 'I can't hit the broad side of a barn but can spam pipe grenades like a pro' or 'Let me stand behind my SG and wrench anyone who approaches'.

Well, I'll introduce myself to you. I am a 21 year old nerd. I suck at math, therefor i suck at a good majority of programming. I do game development, mainly under level design/texturing and getting into modelling still. I've been doing level design since i was about 11 years old, and i've been working on computers since i was in kindergarten. My first machine was a 80386 processor. Lovely machine that allowed me to operate in windows 3x. I've been Pc gaming since then as well. I do goto school, majoring in network engineering and administration. And trying to get a few of my certifications. Like my cisco and CompTIA certs (A+,N+,(U+),S+). I drink and I smoke, I do have friends.

I guess if you want to talk to me, do it at the LAN. I might yell at you, or trick you in going to candy mountain to remove your kidneys. Thats all :D

Hello :)

I'm Heretic, someone who can't sleep unless he plays a bit CS every day. I prefer to stick to a single server (with the occasional random gungame server), get to know the regulars and play with them.

I've been playing CS for about 9 years now. I was known as fsb.heretic in Ford's 1.5/6 server for about 5 years till the server went down and everyone stopped playing CS due to other obligations :( and spent the next 2 years wandering from server to server, finally deciding to make the switch to CS:S.

I shortly stayed with another great CS:S community called Hardmud till it went down, and again started spending time getting banned on a regular basis from random servers for haxing, and searching for a good and friendly pub with skilled players, till I found this one and decided to make it my new CS home :)

I'm 25 years old, a full time undergrad student in Staten Island, NY, with 3 jobs on campus. I spend what little free time I have playing CS and watching anime.

I tried playing TF2, but I couldn't get a single kill (and bitterly figured out that I will never get a single kill playing CS style), and also occasionally play COD4, again bitterly trying to get a single kill. Nature has conspired to make me stick to CS.

Stompfest is a fun server with good people that actually plays maps that I like, so you can expect me to stick around till the end of the server :)

And if you're going to die anyway, you might as well try to take me out with you. Retreating out of the range of my flames isn't going to help. I actually came out ahead last night, 65/60 (with no help from you :rolleyes:). I wish we could stay on turbine for more than one win. I do well on that map and it never lasts very long.

Just decided to throw my hat in the forum ring as well. I enjoy playing with all of you, and I'm finally starting to get a little better at TF2. I learned how to play on your servers, so if you remember me doing anything really stupid, just chalk it up to not having played before. In fact, this is the first online FPS I've ever played I think.
