Hey guys,

Many of you have probably seen me on the 24/7 2Fort server, since it's all I have been playing lately. And come to think of it I have been pretty much ONLY playing on yer server.

Anywho, Just thought I would say hi, say that I really enjoy the server etc.

Just an FYI, I currently reside in one town during the week while I work, and then I go home weekends to my loving ;) wife. So right now just about every night Monday-Thursday I play all evening.

The points system! Ugh, I just broke 4,000, and unless you totally go defense whore, you can;t get above that as you lose 20-30 points every time you die. I didn't realize you lost the points that players gained when they killed you :mad:.

Doesn't matter anywho, only playing during the week, I lose 20-30 ranks anyway. Anyway, thanks, and if I win stuff :) lemme know!

Yeah I pretty much like all the people who frequent the server for the most part. Which is why I keep coming back.

I wouldn't worry too much about the point system. It is in no way a measure of skill. Hell there are plenty of players better than me. I'm not even sure why I am so high other than the fact I live on the server. :)

Playing a medic I think is the quickest way to get your score up. But ONLY if you have a good supporting team who will watch your back. Sometimes I get people on my team who ignore me so I get rocket gibbed or torched by a pyro. I tend to switch classes then. :) But if your team works well with you, you can get a lot of medic assist kills.

The other thing that helps oddly is I put dispensers and teleporters in high risk areas. They tend to get blown up a lot and everytime I rebuild them it's 7 points. That dispensor at the front of the enemy sewer helps a lot I think. Sure beats going all the way back to the health pack then getting picked off by rockets. Or sometimes I have my sentry in the basement and my dispensor at the front of our base. Seems useless to only have dispensors in places no one will use or need them.

Personally I think it makes more sense to boost points from sentry kills and maybe offer points for dispensor healing and teleporter use rather than points for building. But I don't know how the point system works or if it's even possible to change it around much.
