i was playing today around 3pm CST and the ranks for everyone were reset on the server, i dont know why or what happened i was wondering if it was an error or intentional that it should happen

Yes, I made a request to check and see if ranks between both servers could be combined without losing the current stats. Instead of a yes or no, the ranks were just combined and we lost stats for the normal rotation server. The good news is that the two servers are now linked with stats and we should never have to reset the stats again. You will need to update your signature to include the new stats.
