well every 3 months our normal players get a chance to win a prize. We generally pick a random rank and whoever is at that rank at X time on X day will get the prize. For all other months, the prize goes to one of our subscribers (listed at the top of every page). Our subscriber drawings are drawn completely at random. I'd say 4.99 is a good deal to potentially win something worth over 100 bucks, eh?

Well, since it's posted on the front page I chose the 8GB Monster thumb drive. I don't need the 320 GB storage well because I don't have anything but work information to store. (Even then I use my other 3 external HDD. They're 250GB, 320GB and 500GB. They're not my own but work ones.). I would get most use out of this and I'd like to test this thing. See if it's faster than my Kingston 2GB pen drive, my Apacer 4GB pen drive and my brother's 8GB pen drive (forgot the brand.) Write information is important and it'd be neat to see how this performs. Although, since it is a hard drive and not a memory stick, this should be interesting to see how it works. Either way HURRAYYYYY! <3 Stompfest. I'm glad to be a part of everything. :D

Well you have a proven use for it and I like it. I would taken the 320 for my movie collection...and other...commodities.

Lol, today I would have received the thumb drive. Darn post office didn't tell me I had to sign for it, or didn't bother to have me sign for it when I was standing at my mailbox waiting for the mail. So I should let everybody know Monday or something. But the prize came and now I just have to pick it up. :D Thanks again, <3.

Alright, this thing is pretty good. I'll name off some pros and cons for anybody looking to get some. Let's start with the bad.

Cons:
1. It's huge (for pen drive standards.) I can't fit it into most of my USB slots without it hitting or interrupting another plug in device. An easy fix is an USB extension cable. A tiny little one is fine so it fits right. Using this as is as a USB pen drive is nearly impossible.
2. It's got no key chain holder! This may sound dumb but all the rest of mine have this function. It's good for easy travel. Although the size might compromise the portability. I wouldn't recommending trying to fix this.
3. It looks like a zippo, but it's pretty flimsy. For the big shell, I thought it'd be a little more durable. (Although this is why it's light, which is a plus.)

Pros:
1. It's lightning fast with transfers. It litrally kept up with my brother's lightning pen drive. In example it took 26 seconds to transfer my UBCD win builder ISO over to it. It took my Kingston 1GB 2 minutes and 13 seconds. It took my Apacer 4GB 1 minute 6 seconds. My brother's lightning took 24 seconds. All in all, this thing is quick with transfers.
2. Nobody can go wrong with 8GB storage for a very portal drive. It's got a total of 7.62GB worth of space, Which is good for pen drives. (Lots jip you sometimes missing up to a third of the space it's supposed to be.)
3. Although it's big, it's light. I had it in my cargo pocket and nearly forgot it was there. This makes me wonder if they could have made it smaller.
4. The cap is universal. This basically means it can go on both ways. I freakin hate my Apacer that can only go on one way. This leads to me losing the cap multiple times. It also fits snug and wont fall off easily. Again this may sound stupid but it's killer when you have some that don't go on properly or fall of easily.

Will I recommend it to others? Yes. It's a hesitated yes, but it's worth it. A big storage device like this is used I'd say for once in a while. I wouldn't use this left and right because of it's size. But if you need to store extra photos, movies, songs or whatever it's great. You can leave it plugged in also as an external HDD. For simple fast transfer it's good, but I'd rather use a pen drive because of the portability. If I had to rate it, it'd be a 7/10.

Anyways, Thanks for the opportunity and giving me this wonderful device. I appreciate it very much! I have already used it to store work info and plan on using it more in the future. Anybody who wants to get one can look at what I said, or can be influenced by what I tested! :)
