Just got in 2 different models of HIPER brand Fans.

120 x 120 x 25mm 4 LED Chrome blade fan - ~50 CFM

80 x 80 x 15mm 4 LED Clear fan ~23 CFM

both are rated to 19 db of sound.

They live up to the noise expectation beautifully with still good airflow.

Beauty of it: each fan was only ~$5 on newegg. I think the 80s were only $3 actually.

Cheap, effective, QUIET, and LED awesome.

I run an Antec 900, that beatch is loud not matter what fans I use - it has the big 200mm fan in the top!

Hence why I don't personally care for the Antec 900. I may grace you with a soundbyte of how silent my machine is later in the week...among pics.

In my "computer room" I have my dual core E6700 with dual 400GB HD's, an Athlon based CentOS samba server with 4x500GB RAID-5 Hard Drives, My wife's Dell XPS Gen4 3.6GHZ Box, and as you can imagine the heat in that room, I also run an auxiliary AC unit (Some standup unit I bought @ BestBuy 5 years ago). So the point to all of this is, my 900 is much quieter than the rest of the systems in my computer room. ;) (Plus I am building the wife a 900 Case E6600 machine)

So basically you buy too much shit that you should be giving me :P

Well the first part is really true, I got a 3.6GHZ PC that I need to dump to make room for my second dual core! I got an old Barton 2500/ECS motherboard with a ghetto $19 case I would probably be willing to give away. (No video card, I gave that away already)

My gaming rig is pretty set now

Athlon X2 4400+ (skt 939)
2 gb of PC-4000 DDR (DDR 500)
X800GT OCed by about 15% from stock.
Thermalright HR-05-SLI on the NB
Arctic Freezer 64 on the CPU
OCZ StealthXtreme 600w PSU
Audigy 2 ZS Platinum

All my machine really needs for a boost is the Vid Card.

wtf are you using in your antec 900? The only way I can tell mine is on is because of the bright ass blue...

I got just 2HD's and an 8800GTS. The 20cm fan makes some noise, but again, I can't here it over the AC and the server.

you must have a faulty fan somewhere. I honestly cannot hear a damn thing and I have an 8800GTX and all fans going

lol i can't say my system is quiet but compared what i use to run my current pc and i'm sure most of yours is very quiet. i use to run a box with 4 vantec tornados 80mm. if you don't know how loud those are google em or look em up on newegg. they're like some of the loudest fans i've ever put in a computer. initially only put it on my heatsink but after i found out how well it moves air around (that and i was getting negative air flow) i decided to get 2 more for my case. after tweaking some more air flow balance i finally decided to get one more in the front making a total of 4 vantec tornados in 1 box. i couldn't hear anything at all outside of my game sounds that were turned up high. LOLOLOL. thank god for moving up to 120mm fans. more air flow for less rpm, meaning less sound.
