Hey folks ...
I know this isn't gaming related, but I'm sure folks will agree it fits :). Here in FreddyBeach, we had an early release of the Transformers today, so I went to see it with some friends of mine. I must say, they did a great job on the movie. I won't give away any spoilers, but anyone that grew up watching the original series, autobots vs. decepticons, will get a kick out of the movie. It doesn't take itself too seriously (quote from a friend of mine), and the manage to pull off a good story, great action, and pretty damn good special affects.
I'm not one to usualy go to the theater, most of my movie viewing is done at home, but this is one for the bigscreen, I would recommend. We had 2 viewings here tonight, and the first one, the theater was full 45 mintues before the start time. The movie is 155minutes, but it goes by pretty fast.
Just thought I'd share some quick comments with anyone thinking about going to see it - go! You'll be happy with the result.
