it can grow up to about 3 feet with a large enough aquarium

too bad 99% of freshwater fish are uuuggllly including this one. get a saltwater tank

I had this amazing fish tank once. :-/ I had over $2000 sunk into just the fish alone and then my step brother thought it would be nice to clean my tank for me and then decided it would be ok to add my fish back to the water that was still hot as hell. Needless to say most of my fish died. :-(

Granted this all happened when I was out of town for two weeks. To add insult to injury my mother trying to be nice bought a crap ton of Wal-Mart fish for me to help "replace" my lost fish. She ended up getting my other fish sick with Ichthyophthirius multifilis or Ich as it's more commonly called.

This brought my fish tank owning to a close and to this day I'm really hesitant to buy some more fish over again.

It's not that I mind nature and all that happens in it. I just personally couldn't feed a rodent to a snake. I mean I like snakes as well but just something about a rodent and a snake. Maybe a small dog I could do that dogs are annoying.

I thought snakes had to eat live animals or at least warm animals do you microwave them too? and by humane you know they just drown them in large sacks. ;-P

by humane, i mean they are in chambers that release gas in a certain sequence to first put them to sleep and then remove their air. They don't even know they are being killed because they're asleep.

And to thaw them I just fill up a bucket with really hot water and let them float around in there for about 15 minutes. They don't have to be warm, they just can't have ice in em. I usually get them warm though.

You don't really believe that's how they kill them do you? So you'll feed your snake rats that were executed like jews during the holocaust? That's messed up man.

not quite... they do it like this for two reasons.

1) It is humane, since they do not feel anything.

2) They can do it in masses, since the chambers can be pretty big.

Yes, kind of like the holocaust, but for rats and more humane... there's quite a big dif between humans and rats.
