People in Florida Rejoice! Big LANs every once in a while

Not to take away from all the goodness that is Stompfest, but for Floridians that want a localized LAN party option. University of Central Florida's LANKnights (www.lanknights.net) do LAN parties that are decent sized (50-150 people). We're always lookin for new people that are available down there.

I know I've played with a lot of people on the SF CSS server and noticed a lot of you mention you're in Florida. Just wanted you all to know there's somethin out there.

In fact I know it's short notice for you all, but Saturday (Jun 23) there's a LAN event on UCF Main campus in orlando.

Reason I know of this is I coordinate the networking for the event and am soon to be living with the President and VP of the club.

Any of you interested I can get you info ASAP.

maybe we can get a list of different lan parties set up for all over the US.

If i'm ever down in florida i'll make sure to check it out :)

Lan had about 50 people which is pretty damn good for a summer event and no one is at school pretty much.

Tyan AM2 Motherboard was the big prize given away for a gungame tourney. A fantastic game of Savage that lasted 3 hrs is a great LAN hit, if you guys have never played it, msg me and I can fill you in on the game.

We have already posted dates for our next LAN and I'll post a thread about it under Stompfest LANs for you all.

Hopefully some of you can make it in for that.
